MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College finished first out of three scoring teams on Thursday at the WLC Quadrangular at Dretzka Park Golf Course.
The Warriors won their second home event of the season with a score of 379. Marian was second with a 396 and Edgewood was third with a 432. Kishwaukee also competed but did not have a team score.
Freshman
Kaylea Affeld (Watertown, Wis.) finished atop the 18-player field with a season-low round of 87. Senior
Charley Fleek (Albert Lea, Minn.) was second a 92.
Junior
Sarah Bridenhagen (Sturgeon Bay, Wis.) and sophomore
Taylor Peterson (Beloit, Wis.) tied for eighth with a 100. Sophomore
Rebecca Schildgen (Beloit, Wis.) placed 14th with a 110, freshman
Brynn Boche (Ixonia, Wis.) placed 16th with a 132, and freshman
Nobaly Grancorbitz (Oshkosh, Wis.) was 17th with a 136.Â
Wisconsin Lutheran hosts the five-team WLC Invitational tomorrow at New Berlin Hills Golf Course in New Berlin. Tee time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
