Micheel, Hartman Post Season Bests At Loyola Lakefront Invitational

CHICAGO, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College juniors Zeke Micheel (Salt Lake City, Utah) and Peyton Hartman (Montgomery, Ill.) raced on Friday in the Gold Division 8K of the Loyola Lakefront Invitational at Montrose Harbor.

Micheel finished 13th in the 61-runner field with a season-best 8K time of 26:44.49. Hartman came in 18th place also with a season-best time of 27:12.00. Ohio State's John Cuozzo won the 8K race with a time of 25:32.80.

WLC hosts the 22nd annual Warrior Invitational tomorrow at Greenfield Park. The men's 8K race starts at 12 p.m.
