Affeld Leads WLC At Thursday Triangular

Sophomore shoots a season-low 95

MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College competed on Thursday at the WLC Triangular at Dretzka Park Golf Course.

The Warriors finished third with a 430 at the three-team event. Edgewood shot a 366 to win the triangular, and the Eagles' Braxton Brown carded an 89 to earn medalist honors in the 15-player field.

Sophomore Kaylea Affeld (Watertown, Wis.) led WLC with a season-low 95 for seventh place, junior Rebecca Schildgen (Beloit, Wis.) shot a 99 for eighth place, and freshman Madison Wagner (Green Bay, Wis.) fired a 101 for a ninth-place finish.

Freshmen Marin Riesen (Watertown, Wis.) and Noel Greene (Wauwatosa, Wis.) rounded out Wisconsin Lutheran's team score with a 135 and 139, respectively.

The Warriors are back on the links tomorrow for the Brew City Battle at Naga-Waukee War Memorial Golf Course in Waukesha.
