The Warriors were defeated 8-6 by the host Blueboys (2-0) in the opener, before falling 10-7 to Simpson (2-0) in the nightcap.

WLC wraps up its first weekend of the season tomorrow with a single game against Blackburn (0-2) in Pleasant Plains, Illinois.
