Zeke Micheel (Salt Lake City, Utah) won the 5000m and sophomore
Caleb Andrews (Waunakee, Wis.) set a new school record in the High Jump to lead Wisconsin Lutheran College at the 2024 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday and Saturday at Skyward Fieldhouse. The Warriors placed fifth at the two-day event with 54 points.
Micheel was crowned conference champion in the 5000m, as he won the event with a time of 15:08.80 for his first career indoor title. Andrews cleared a school-record 1.90m in the High Jump for a runner-up finish in the event.Â
Junior
Isaiah Herried (Necedah, Wis.) finished third in the 800m with a personal-best time of 4:20.39, while
Zeke Micheel followed in fourth at 4:24.16.Â
Freshman
Arnold Rupnow (Watertown, Wis.) posted a fourth-place finish in the 3000m with a personal-best time of 8:55.50.
Senior
August Davis (Springfield, Ill.) placed fourth in the Heptathlon with 3521 points.
Sophomore
Abuchi Osuala (Milwaukee, Wis.) leaped to a fifth-place finish in the Long Jump at 6.71m.Â

Tyler Kleinhans (Fall Creek, Wis.),
Noah Micheel (Mequon, Wis.), and
Silas Ebeling (Wauwatosa, Wis.) came in fifth in the Distance Medley Relay at 11:06.84.
Sophomore
Michael Miller (Waukesha, Wis.) was sixth in the 800m with a time of 1:59.92.Â
Freshman
Zachary Tipton (Milwaukee, Wis.) finished seventh in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 9.21 seconds.Â
Senior
Peyton Hartman (Montgomery, Ill.) placed eighth in the 5000m with a time of 15:41.98.
Miller, Tipton, Kleinhans, and Herried were eighth in the 4x400m Relay at 3:42.42.
WLC will next compete in a pair of "last chance" meets next weekend at Carthage (March 1) and Ripon (March 2).
