LEXINGTON, Ky. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College finished fifth out of 16 teams with 62.5 points at the outdoor season-opening Pioneer Invitational hosted by Transylvania on Saturday at Pat Deacon Stadium.
Junior
Isaiah Herried (Necedah, Wis.) finished second in the 1500m with a time of 4:07.39.
Senior
Peyton Hartman (Montgomery, Ill.) and freshman
Silas Ebeling (Wauwatosa, Wis.) came in second and third in the 5000m with times of 15:36.70 and 15:45.20, respectively. Junior
Adam Kriefall (New Berlin, Wis.) was also sixth in the event with a time of 16:07.60.
Sophomore
Abuchi Osuala (Milwaukee, Wis.) leaped to a third-place finish in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.08m. He also sprinted to a sixth-place finish in the 200m with a time of 22.98 seconds.
Sophomore
Michael Miller (Waukesha, Wis.) placed third in the 800m with a time of 2:00.54.Â
Freshman
Zachary Tipton (Milwaukee, Wis.) posted a third-place showing in the 110m Hurdles with a time of 16.57 seconds.

Isaiah Krenek (Aurora, Ill.) and Eljiah Franklin (Milwaukee, Wis.), and Herried placed third with a time of 3:38.62.
