MILWAUKEE (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College finished fourth at its first home event of the season on Friday, the WLC Invitational played at Dretzka Park Golf Course.
The Warriors carded a season-low 376, besting their previous team low round by six strokes from their opening round of the season on August 30.
Junior
Kaylea Affeld (Watertown, Wis.) tied for seventh in the 29-player field to lead WLC. She fired a career-low tying 84 on the par-72, 5621-yard course. Sophomore
Madison Wagner (Green Bay, Wis.) also carded a career-low 91 to tie for 17th place.
Senior
Rebecca Schildgen (Beloit, Wis.) finished a 99, while freshmen
Delaney McCoy (West Bend, Wis.) and Macey Grover (Janesville, Wis.)Â posted rounds of 102 and 103, respectively. Individually, senior
Reagan Barr (Tucson, Ariz.) recorded a 100.
Lake Forest won the five-team event with a 324. Ashlyn Bhatia of Lake Forest earned medalist honors with a 77.Â
Wisconsin Lutheran is back on the links tomorrow for the MSOE Invitational at Brown Deer Park Golf Course. Tee time is scheduled for 10:15 a.m.
