NORTHFIELD, Minn. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College finished ninth out of 22 scoring teams on Saturday at the St. Olaf Invitational at St. Olaf Cross Country Course.
The Warriors scored 247 points to record a top-10 team finish.Â
Senior
Isaiah Herried (Necedah, Wis.) placed 34th overall for WLC with an 8K time of 26:45.7. Sophomore
Arnold Rupnow (Watertown, Wis.) finished 47th with a time of 27:12.5. Junior
Josh Staggs (Oostburg, Wis.) finished 63rd with a time of 27:35.5, junior
Michael Miller (Waukesha, Wis.) finished 68th with a time of 27:40.4, and junior
Jack Staggs (Oostburg, Wis.) completed the team score for Wisconsin Lutheran with a time of 28:22.0.
Host St. Olaf topped the 22-team scoring field with 38 points. Mohammed Bati of Augsburg won 299-runner 8K race with a time of 24:42.3.
The Warriors return to action on Saturday, October 5 for the 24th annual Warrior Invitational at Greenfield Park in West Allis. The men's 8K race starts at 12 p.m.
