KANSASVILLE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College wrapped up its two-day weekend at the Midwest Region Fall Classic at Brighton Dale Links on Saturday. The Warriors finished 28th with a two-round team score of 404-382--786.Â
Freshman
Macy Grover (Janesville, Wis.) posted WLC's lowest two-round score of the tournament with a 97-93--190 for 147th place.
Sophomore
Madison Wagner (Green Bay, Wis.) finished 163rd with a 101-99-200, freshman
Lucia Giurdanella (Downers Grove, Ill.) was 165th with a 102-102--204, and senior
Rebecca Schildgen (Beloit, Wis.) was 174th with a 104-109--213. Junior
Kaylea Affeld (Watertown, Wis.) finished with an 88 while competing only in Saturday's second round.
Cal Lutheran finished atop the 33-team field with a two-round team score of 308-307--615. Morgan Hawkins of Dubuque earned medalist honors in the 190-player field with a 79-70--149.
The Warriors host their second five-team event of the season on Thursday, September 25 at Currie Park Golf Course in Wauwatosa. First tee time is scheduled for 1:04 p.m.
