WHITEWATER, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College recorded 11 PRs at the Squig Converse Invite hosted by UW-Whitewater on Friday at Williams Center.
Senior
Isaiah Herried (Necedah, Wis.) posted WLC's top finish at the event, placing seventh out of 50 competitors in the 3,000m with a personal-best time of 8:45.38.
Junior
Abuchi Osuala (Milwaukee, Wis.) finished with a personal-best time of 7.10 seconds in the 60m, while freshman
Jared Frey (New Ulm, Minn.) recorded a personal-best time of 7.83 seconds.
Four from Wisconsin Lutheran registered personal-bests in the 200m, as sophomore
Brightson Namutenda (Houston, Texas) was clocked at 24.03 seconds, freshman
Caden Strubbe (Milwaukee, Wis.) at 21.12 seconds, freshman
Evan Hadler (Cedarburg, Wis.) at 24.33 seconds, and Frey at 25.96 seconds.
Junior
Marshall Palmer (Collinsville, Okla.) recorded a personal-best toss of 9.52m in the Weight Throw. Freshman
Kevin Trevino (Lewisville, Texas) tallied personal-best marks in both the Shot Put (9.31m) and Weight Throw (9.24m). Freshman
John Mullenberg (Chetek, Wis.) also landed a personal-best attempt in the Shot Put of 9.08m.
Invite host UW-Whitewater won five events and scored 142 points to take home the team title.
