MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) — Wisconsin Lutheran College's
Aubrey Koch (Milwaukee, Wis.),
Ginny Shade (Thornton, Colo.), and
Alaena Zastrow (De Pere, Wis.) have been named All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Honorable Mention selections, the league office announced on Thursday.
Koch, a sophomore defender, helped anchor the back line for the Warriors, starting 12 of the 13 matches she played. She helped lead a defensive unit that recorded six shutouts and held opponents to one goal on three occasions. This marks Koch's first NACC postseason honor.
Shade, a sophomore midfielder, was a key offensive catalyst for WLC. She started 16 of 17 matches and led the team with 19 points, while tying for the team lead with seven goals and adding a team-best five assists. Shade also ranked second on the team with 30 shots and 16 shots on goal. She tallied the game-winning goal in Wisconsin Lutheran's 1–0 victory over St. Norbert on September 24. This is her first career NACC postseason award.
Zastrow, also a sophomore midfielder, started 15 of 16 matches and was one of the team's most reliable two-way players. She ranked second on the team with five goals and 1,163 minutes played, and led the Warriors with three game-winning goals. This is Zastrow's second straight NACC postseason honor.
WLC, which clinched its second straight NACC Tournament berth, concluded its 2025 campaign 7-7-3 overall and 4-5-3 in the NACC, matching its highest conference winning percentage since 2012.
