Herried Turns In Top-10 Finish At Lake Michigan Open

KENOSHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College's Isaiah Herried (Necedah, Wis.) placed sixth overall in the Mile on Saturday at the Lake Michigan Open hosted by UW-Parkside at Frank Petretti Fieldhouse.

Herried, who was the lone representative from the Warriors men's track & field team at the meet, finished sixth out of 37 competitors in the Mile with a time of 4:27.52. Doug Martin of UW-Parkside won the event with a time of 4:16.03.

WLC returns to Kenosha next Saturday, February 8 for the Tadd Metzger Invitational hosted by Carthage. Events are scheduled for an 11:30 a.m. start inside Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center. A live results link can be found at WLCSports.com.
