RIPON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Junior
Abuchi Osuala (Milwaukee, Wis.) won the 60m and freshman
Sam Ehlke (Jackson, Wis.) won the Triple Jump to lead Wisconsin Lutheran College to a fourth-place team finish with 71 points on Saturday at the Dick Hendricks Invitational hosted by Ripon at Willmore Center.Â
Osuala won both the prelim and the final of the 60m, clocking a personal-best 7.06 seconds in the final for a top-5 time in the NACC this season. He also finished eighth in the Long Jump with a distance of 6.09m.
Ehlke also won the Triple Jump with a personal-best mark of 13.78m, good for second-best in the NACC this season. Freshman
Jack Herried (Necedah, Wis.) came in sixth in the event with leap of 12.09m.Â
Sophomore
Noah Micheel (Mequon, Wis.) was runner-up in the 3,000m with a time of 9:29.52, senior
Will Caldwell (Milwaukee, Wis.) was fourth in 9:32.89, and senior
Carter Moski (Machesney Park, Ill.) was fifth in 10:07.76.
Senior
Isaiah Herried (Necedah, Wis.) finished fourth in the Mile with a time of 4:28.96. Sophomore
Arnold Rupnow (Watertown, Wis.) was seventh with a personal-best time of 4:39.41.
Freshman
Caden Strubbe (Madison, Wis.) posted a fourth-place finish in the 400m with a personal-best time of 52.42 seconds. He also recorded a personal-best in the 200m of 23.90 seconds.

Nathan Stafford (Neenah, Wis.) was fifth in the Pole Vault at 3.90m, and senior
Adam Kriefall (New Berlin, Wis.) was sixth in the 5,000m with a time of 16:43.63.
Freshman
Evan Hadler (Cedarburg, Wis.) and sophomores
Brightson Namutenda (Houston, Texas),
DeShawn Wells (Sioux City, Iowa), and
Tyler Kleinhans (Fall Creek, Wis.) were third on WLC's 1600m Sprint Medley Relay team with a time of 4:00.08.
In the 4x400m Relay, juniors
Isaiah Krenek (Aurora, Ill.) and
Ray Woller (Mount Horeb, Wis.), Wells, and Kleinhans were fourth with a time of 3:41.20.
Sophomore
John Varga (Burbank, Calif.) recorded a personal-best in the Shot Put (8.56m), while Krenek (7.64 seconds) and freshman
Jared Frey (New Ulm, Minn.) (7.77 seconds) added personal-bests in the 60m.Â
Ripon won four events and scored 143 points to take home the 10-team scoring title.Â
