HARTFORD, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College opened its spring season with a fourth-place finish at the WLC Spring Quadrangular on Thursday at Washington County Golf Course. The Warriors shot a team score of 404 (+116) in their first round of the spring.
Freshman
Macy Grover (Janesville, Wis.) was 11th with a 93 to lead WLC, and junior
Kaylea Affeld (Watertown, Wis.) was 18th with a 98. Sophomore
Madison Wagner (Green Bay, Wis.) was 19th with a 103. Senior
Rebecca Schildgen (Beloit, Wis.) shot a 110, junior
Brynn Boche (Ixonia, Wis.) shot a 114, freshman
Caden Reger (Milwaukee, Wis.) shot a 115, and freshman
Lucia Giurdanella (Downers Grove, Ill.) shot a 122.Â
MSOEÂ fired a 351 to win the four-team event by nine shots over runner-up UW-Whitewater B. Molly Dalton of MSOEÂ carded an 84 to take home medalist honors.
Wisconsin Lutheran plays in the UW-Whitewater Spring Invitational on April 25-26 at Riverside Golf Course in Janesville. First round tee time is set for 1 p.m.
