HARTFORD, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College finished fifth at the WLC Invitational on Friday at Washington County Golf Course.Â
The Warriors, who shot a 387 (+99) as a team, were paced by senior
Kaylea Affeld's (Watertown, Wis.) 15th-place finish. Affeld fired a 92 to place two strokes back of 10th place. Junior
Madison Wagner (Green Bay, Wis.) finished 17th with a 95, and sophomore
Macy Grover (Janesville, Wis.) was 22nd with a 99.Â
Freshman
Ana Hayes (Allenton, Wis.) tied for 23rd with a 101, and freshman
Claire Peterson (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) rounded out the team scoring in 28th with a 113.Â
UW-Oshkosh finished atop the five-team field with a 340 (+52), 18 strokes ahead of runner-up Loras. Sydney Bornhorst of UW-Oshkosh earned medalist honors with a 78.Â
WLC returns to the links tomorrow for the MSOE Invitational at Dretzka Park Golf Course. First tee time is scheduled for 9:04 a.m.
