MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College finished fifth at the MSOE Invitational on Saturday at Dretzka Park Golf Course.
The Warriors, who shot a 392, were led by senior
Kaylea Affeld (Watertown, Wis.) for the third straight event with a team-low 92 for 21st place. Freshman
Claire Peterson (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) was 22nd with a 94.
Sophomore
Macy Grover (Janesville, Wis.) shot a 102, junior
Madison Wagner (Green Bay, Wis.) shot a 103, and senior
Brynn Boche (Ixonia, Wis.) shot a 109.
UW-Oshkosh won the five-team event with a 339 (+51). Individually, Sydney Fulton of Lake Forest topped the 29-player field with a 78 (+6).
WLC competes next at the Benedictine Invitational on Wednesday at St. Andrews Golf & Country Club in West Chicago, Illinois.
