MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College's
Kenly Frey (Brookfield, Wis.) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of February 2-8, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. This is Frey first career conference weekly award and the second by a Warrior this season.
Frey averaged a team-leading 20.0 points per game last week for the Warriors, who extended their winning streak to seven games with NACC victories over Aurora (70-64/OT) and Concordia Chicago (92-41). The freshman guard was one of three WLC players to reach double-figure scoring on Wednesday, February 4 against the Spartans with 16 points. She led three Warriors in double figures with a game-high 24 points on Saturday, February 7 against the Cougars. For the week, Frey shot 51.9 percent (14-for-27) from the floor.
