MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College football assistant coach
Ryan Galasso has stepped down from his roles as offensive line coach, co-offensive coordinator, and recruiting coordinator, Head Coach
Eric Treske announced.
Galasso joined the Warriors' coaching staff prior to the 2024 season as running backs coach and quickly made an impact on WLC's offensive production. Under his guidance, Wisconsin Lutheran revitalized its running game, increasing its rushing yards per game from 83.8 to 156.8 and then to 159.7 over the past two seasons.
"Ryan was an incredible coach, co-worker, and friend," said Treske. "We are grateful to have had him in our Warriors family and are better because of him."
In addition, the Warriors announced that
Steve Donovan, the program's 11th-year defensive coordinator, has been promoted to Assistant Head Coach.
Donovan has led the WLC defense since 2015 and has been instrumental in its sustained success. During his tenure, he has mentored four All-Region selections, two NACC Defensive Players of the Year, and 12 First Team All-NACC honorees.
"Steve has been more than a coach," said Treske. "He's been a brother and has led with integrity and does whatever he can for our players. He truly shows love and is a blessing to our Warriors family."
