Men's Tennis drops season-opening non-conference match to Carroll

WAUKESHA, Wis. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's tennis team opened their 2008 season on Sunday by falling to the Carroll College Pioneers 8-1 in a non-conference match.

WLC's lone victory of the day came at No. 6 singles when Jon Fricke (Baraboo, Wis./Luther Preparatory) defeated Robert Peterson 6-2, 3-6, 1-0.

Wisconsin Lutheran (0-1) travels to Fond du Lac, Wis., on April 16 for a match against the Marian College Sabres.
