MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Four members of the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's and women's tennis teams were named 2025-2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District®, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Senior
Connor Heezen (Pulaski, Wis.) represented the Warriors' men's team for a second straight year, while senior
Lucia Gallardo Martos (Torrejon De Ardoz, Spain), junior
Maddy Olson (Onalaska, Wis.), and sophomore
Joelle Smith (Milwaukee, Wis.) represented the WLC women's team. Olson was also honored for a second straight year.
The CSC Academic All-America® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom across all of NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
In order to earn CSC Academic All-District® honors, student-athletes must hold a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 and must be at least a sophomore athletically and academically. For tennis, nominees must be in the lineup for 75 percent of an institution's days of competitions.
