DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Wisconsin Lutheran College
men's tennis team was defeated by the University of Dubuque
Spartans 9-0 on Sunday in a non-conference match at the Frank
Farber Tennis Courts.
The Warriors were defeated by scores of 6-0, 6-0 in four of the
six matches of singles play. WLC's only set point came at No. 1
singles. Wisconsin Lutheran was forced to forfeit its matches at
No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles. The Spartans (12-11) won both
matches at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles by a score of 8-2.
Wisconsin Lutheran (1-7) stays in Dubuque to take on Loras
College in a non-conference match on Sunday at 3 p.m.
