MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's soccer team recorded its first victory of the 2011 season Tuesday night with an 11-1 rout over Rockford College at Warrior Field.

Freshman Laura Kent (Iron Mountain, Mich./Iron Mountain) notched her first career collegiate goal at the 32:41 mark before Smith recorded her third goal of the half six minutes later off a freshman Sarah Kolander (Brookfield, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) assist for a 4-0 advantage. A Rockford goal with just four seconds left in the opening half made the score 4-1 entering intermission.

The Warriors then scored five times in the first 6:31 of the second half to put away the Regents, led by three from sophomore Niki DiSalvo (Waterford, Wis./Waterford).
DiSalvo scored 1:40 into the second half when she connected off a pass from sophomore Cari Westover (Muskego, Wis./Muskego) to put the Warriors up four. She then struck 2:18 later, this time off another Kolander assist for a 6-1 lead.

Kent scored her second goal of the night less than a minute later on assists from DiSalvo and Smith. Smith's fourth goal came at the 50:05 mark off a pass from Westover. DiSalvo capped off the impressive 6:31 span with her third goal of the evening and then recorded her fourth score at the 78:29 mark. Smith then tallied her career-high fifth goal with 22 seconds remaining for the 11-1 margin.
