OAK BROOK, Ill. - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's tennis team picked up two NACC road wins on Saturday afternoon, defeating Dominican 6-3 and Concordia Chicago 9-0. With the two wins, WLC clinched the fourth seed and a home match in the NACC Tournament, which begins Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED VS. DOMINICAN
- Wisconsin Lutheran took two of three doubles matches to open the match vs. the Stars.
- Derek Sallmann (Waukesha, Wis./West) and Zach Birner (Neenah, Wis./Luther Preparatory) were 8-3 winners at No. 1 and Paul Fitzgerald (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) and Ryan Eastman (Brookfield, Wis./Wisconsin Lutheran) collected an 8-4 victory at No. 3.
- The Warriors got off to a strong start in singles play, winning the first two matches and four of six.
- Sallmann swept the opening match, 6-1, 6-0 and Birner (Neenah, Wis./Luther Preparatory) followed suit by winning 6-1, 6-2.
- Cedric Guichard (Plantation, Fla./American Heritage) answered with a 4-6, 6-2, 10-7 win at No. 3, while Fitzgerald then won 7-5, 6-1 at No. 5.
HOW IT HAPPENED VS. CONCORDIA CHICAGO
- The Warriors swept the Cougars, winning 9-0.
- In doubles action, Sallmann and Birner won 8-0 at No. 1. The team of Guichard and Ben Wordell (Lake Mills, Wis./Christian Academy Japan) won 8-3 at No. 2, and Fitzgerald and Eastman won by default at No. 3.
- Wisconsin Lutheran recorded all six wins in singles action.
- Sallmann came from behind at No. 1 to win 2-6, 6-1, 6-4. Birner won in straight sets by scores of 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2. Wordell was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at No. 3. At No. 4, Guichard won in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1. Eastman picked up a 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 5, and Fitzgerald won by default at No. 6.

- Fourth-seeded Wisconsin Lutheran hosts fifth-seeded Dominican on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in the first round of the NACC Tournament at Hart Park in Wauwatosa. This marks the fourth straight appearance for the Warriors in the conference tournament.
