Warriors Fall To Storm, Panthers In Non-Conference Action

ELSAH, Ill. (WLCSports.com) – The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's tennis team dropped a pair of non-conference matches to Simpson and Principia Saturday afternoon inside the Hexberg Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Simpson started the morning off with victories in all three doubles matches.
• Jeremy Ryno (Greyslake, Ill.) and Matt Plaski (Milwaukee, Wis.) both fell in a pair of tough three-set tiebreakers as WLC dropped all of its singles matches.
• Principia began the second match finding victories in all three doubles competitions.
• The Panthers swept through singles play in straight sets to earn the 9-0 triumph.

UP NEXT

• The Warriors continue non-conference action Thursday, March 1 when they host Calvin (1-1) at 9:00 p.m. The Knights have won both previous matchups over WLC.
