(WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's tennis team played its first match in 18 days by opening its conference schedule against Concordia Wisconsin Saturday afternoon at Elite Sports Club. The two-time defending conference champion Falcons defeated the Warriors, 9-0.

- The Warriors dropped the opening three doubles matches to begin the day, with CUW doubling up WLC's No. 1 team of Jonny Wordell (Mequon, Wis.) and Matt Plaski (Milwaukee, Wis.), 8-4.
- The Falcons swept through singles play, winning five of six flights in straight sets. Plaski battled his opponent at the No. 2 position, but fell 7-5, 6-2.
- The Warriors have a week off before hosting Aurora (3-4, 2-0 NACC) and Illinois Tech (10-8, 2-0 NACC) next Saturday at 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., respectively.
