Men's Tennis Topped By Eagles On The Road

MADISON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College men's tennis team concluded its four-match road swing with a 6-1 defeat against Edgewood Tuesday afternoon at Quann Park.

• Final Score: Edgewood 6, Wisconsin Lutheran 1
• Records: Wisconsin Lutheran (1-10, 1-6 NACC), Edgewood (5-11, 3-2 NACC)
• Location: Quann Park, Madison, Wis.

• The Warriors were defeated by the Eagles in both doubles matches to open play, 8-2 and 8-1. EC also claimed four straight set wins in singles play over WLC. Matt Plaski (Milwaukee, Wis.) posted Wisconsin Lutheran's closest match, falling 6-2, 6-4 at No. 2 singles.
• The Warriors' lone win came at No. 5 singles where Tyler Fahney (Hartford, Wis.) won by default.

• The Warriors are back home Saturday for a NACC dual match with Marian (2-6, 2-3 NACC) at the Princeton Club in New Berlin. First serve is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
