NEW BERLIN, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Jonny Wordell (Mequon, Wis.) and Matt Plaski (Milwaukee, Wis.) each earned two victories, but the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's tennis team suffered a 6-3 defeat to the Lakeland Muskies Thursday at The Princeton Club in their final match of the 2019 season.

- The doubles team of Wordell and Plaski opened the match with an 8-4 victory at the No. 1 position.
- After Lakeland took the remaining doubles matches, Wordell earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at the No. 1 singles position and Plaski followed with a 6-3, 2-6, 10-2 win at the No. 2 singles slot.
- The Muskies swept the final four singles flights to take the match 6-3.
- The Warriors conclude their season with a 1-12 overall record and a 1-8 mark in NACC play.
