CHICAGO, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - The fourth-seeded Wisconsin Lutheran College men's tennis team saw its 2022 season come to an end in the NACC Tournament Semifinal on Saturday morning, as the Warriors fell to top-seeded Illinois Tech 5-0 at XS Tennis. WLC finished the season with 10 wins, its highest win total since 2013.

- The top-seeded Scarlet Hawks won all three doubles matches over the Warriors in the first-to-five tournament format. WLC's No. 1 doubles team of senior Evan Sadowski (New Berlin, Wis.) and freshman Aidan Newberg (Manitowoc, Wis.) dropped an 8-5 decision. Sophomore Jon Kannenberg (Butler, Wis.) and freshman Asa White (Farmington, N.M.) fell 8-1 at No. 2 doubles. Wisconsin Lutheran's No. 3 team of sophomore Bryce Halvorsen (Fredonia, Wis.) and junior Josh Hennen (Slinger, Wis.) were defeated 8-0.
- In singles play, White suffered a 6-1, 6-0 setback at No. 3 and Halvorsen was knocked off 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles. Contests at No. 1, No. 2, No. 4, and No. 6 singles went unfinished.
- The Warriors finished their 2022 season with a 10-10 overall record and a 4-3 mark in the NACC. WLC's 10 victories are the most since the 2013 season.
