Box Score PLATTEVILLE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Juan Serna (Milwaukee, Wis./St. Anthony) and Isaiah Gronholz (Watertown, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran) each tallied a goal for the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's soccer team, but it wasn't enough as host UW-Platteville defeated the Warriors 4-2 in a non-conference match on Wednesday night at Pioneer Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pioneers took an early 1-0 lead in the 9' when Nick Hoklas' free kick found the back of the net.
- UW-Platteville added onto its lead in the 27' to make it 2-0 when Logan Rinderknecht headed in a goal from a Hoklas corner kick.
- The Warriors pushed a goal across just before the half in the 43' when Serna netted his first score of the season on a shot from outside the box.
- The Pioneers added another goal nine minutes into the second half when Brad Strobel found Braxton Rottinghaus who fired a shot into the bottom left corner.
- In the 61', Rinderknecht added another insurance goal for the Pioneers when he connected on a goal in the bottom corner from Strobel.
- The Warriors were able to add a late tally in the 79' when Gronholz connected on a penalty kick to make the finally tally 4-2. It was Gronholz's team-leading third goal on the season.
