Warriors Compete At Carthage Final Qualifier

KENOSHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Select members of the Wisconsin Lutheran College men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed on Friday at the Carthage Final Qualifier. Several athletes posted season and personal-best times at the last chance event.

• Freshman Brooke Graesslin (Janesville, Wis.) sprinted to a third-place finish in the 400-meter dash, clocking a personal-best time of 1:03.07.
• Senior Becca Heller (South Milwaukee, Wis.) ran a lifetime-best in the 800-meter run of 2:26.53 to finish third. Freshman Mikaela Sullivan (Wauwatosa, Wis.) ran a season-best time of 2:30.35 for a sixth-place finish.
• Freshman Grace Weide (Waterford, Wis.) finished fifth in the 55-meter hurdles, racing a time of 9.82 seconds.
• Junior Ashley Scherf (Waukesha, Wis.) posted a fifth-place finish in the 3000-meter run in a time of 13:32.31. 
• Junior Chris Krahn (De Pere, Wis.) ran a season-best time in the 3000-meter run of 9:37.57, finishing sixth.
• Senior Elijah Tesch (Sun Prairie, Wis.) ran a personal-best time of 54.65 in the 400-meter dash to score eighth.

• The Warriors turn their attention to the outdoor season when they host the Meet for Milwaukee on Saturday, March 21 at Raabe Stadium. It will be the first home meet since 2016 on the new Catalyst Track.
