WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College placed fifth with 47.5 points at the 2026 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held Friday and Saturday at Raabe Stadium.
The Warriors were led by senior
Leah Schmidt (Bonduel, Wis.), who delivered a record-breaking performance in the Hammer. Schmidt placed fourth with a toss of 45.75m, surpassing her own school record. She also added a sixth-place finish in the Discus (36.45m) and took eighth in the Shot Put (10.62m).
In the field, sophomore
Aubrey Kadolph (Milwaukee, Wis.) recorded a third-place finish in the Javelin with a throw of 32.68m.
Freshman
Maddie Metz (Chino Valley, Ariz.) posted a strong showing in the distance events, finishing fourth in the 5,000m with a time of 19:02.78.
Freshman
Lucy Luedtke (Marshfield, Wis.) finished fourth in the 400m Hurdles in 1:11.13, while junior
Madelyn Beyer (Appleton, Wis.) placed seventh (1:05.13) and junior
Madelyn Vanderhoof (Watertown, Wis.) was eighth (1:07.23) in the 400m.
The multi-event duo of junior
Marin Schibbelhut (Onalaska, Wis.) and freshman
Brooke Hodkiewicz (Oconto Falls, Wis.) also contributed across several events. Schibbelhut was fourth in the Heptathlon with 3486 points and added a sixth-place finish in the open High Jump (1.47m). Hodkiewicz placed seventh in the Heptathlon with 3062 points and eighth in the open High Jump (1.36m).
On the track, the 4x100m Relay of Vanderhoof,
Jaci Volp (Fremont, Wis.), sophomore
Amelia Kelley (Appleton, Wis.), and Luedtke placed fourth in 53.33 seconds, while the 4x400m Relay of Luedtke, Hodkiewicz, Vanderhoof, and Beyer finished fifth in 4:24.52.
Senior
Sylvia Walentowski (Neenah, Wis.) rounded out WLC's top-eight finishes with an eighth-place effort in the 3000m Steeplechase (13:34.70).
St. Norbert captured its fifth consecutive NACC team title with 284.5 points to top the 12-team scoring field.
Wisconsin Lutheran competes in the Fighting Chance Invite next Friday and Saturday at Joliet Memorial Stadium in Joliet, Illinois.
