MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College recorded six personal best marks and four other season best performances on Friday and Saturday at the Marquette Invitational. Team scores were not recorded at the two-day event.
Junior
Marin Schibbelhut (Onalaska, Wis.) highlighted the Warriors on the track with a seventh-place finish in the 100m Hurdles, clocking a personal-best time of 18.52 seconds. Schibbelhut also added a fifth-place finish in the High Jump (1.40m).
In the field events, senior
Leah Schmidt (Bonduel, Wis.) delivered a pair of top-eight finishes with season-best marks in both throwing events. Schmidt placed sixth in the Discus with a throw of 34.26m and followed with a seventh-place finish in the Hammer at 42.82m.
Sophomore
Aubrey Kadolph (Milwaukee, Wis.) recorded a strong fourth-place finish in the Javelin with a mark of 32.77m, giving WLC its highest individual placement of the meet.
Freshman
Jaci Volp (Fremont, Wis.) cleared 1.30m to take sixth in the High Jump, while junior
Madelyn Vanderhoof (Watertown, Wis.) posted a season-best 1.25m to finish seventh in the same event. Freshman
Audra Kopfer (Columbus, Wis.) was eighth in the Shot Put at 9.62m.
On the track, the Warriors' 4x400m Relay team of freshman
Lucy Luedtke (Marshfield, Wis.), freshman
Brooke Hodkiewicz (Oconto Falls, Wis.), Vanderhoof, and freshman
Maddie Metz (Chino Valley, Ariz.) placed third with a time of 4:24.24.
Wisconsin Lutheran hosts its own quadrangular on Saturday, April 18 at Raabe Stadium. Events are scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
