WLC Finishes Seventh At Private College Championships

APPLETON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's cross country team finished seventh on Saturday at the Wisconsin Private College Championships at Reid Municipal Golf Course. Junior Mikaela Sullivan (Wauwatosa, Wis.) led the Warriors with a 27th-place finish in a field of 107 competitors.

• WLC Team: 7th of 10 (192 Points)
• Top WLC Individual: Mikaela Sullivan, 27th of 107, 25:26.0

• Sullivan was the first Warriors runner to cross the finish line, clocking in at 25:26.0 on the 6K course to finish 27th overall out of 107 competitors.
• Junior Brooke Graesslin (Janesville, Wis.) raced to a season-best time of 25:45.1 for 32nd place.
• Sophomore Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) was 35th with a personal-best time of 25:47.3.
• Sophomores Chloe Todor (Franklin, Wis.) and Savanah Bland (Seneca, Ill.) also recorded personal-best 6K times of 26:50.8 and 27:11.7, respectively, to round out the team scoring for WLC.
• Wisconsin Lutheran finished seventh in the final team standings with 192 points. Seven runners achieved personal-best times on the 6K course layout.

• The Warriors are off next week but return to race on Saturday, October 30 for the NACC Championships at Concordia Wisconsin's campus course in Mequon. The women's 6K race starts at 12 p.m.
