GREEN BAY, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College finished fifth for the second straight year at the 2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships on Saturday at Shorewood Cross Country Course, hosted by St. Norbert.
The Warriors totaled 141 points with an average team time of 25:53.6 over the 6K course. Aurora captured the NACC team title for the ninth time with 32 points, while Concordia Wisconsin finished second with 47 points, and St. Norbert took third with 68.
Freshman
Calliope Horn (San Diego, Calif.) paced WLC with a 20th-place finish in a season-best time of 24:59.1, followed closely by fellow freshman
Maddie Metz (Chino Valley, Ariz.), who was 23rd in 25:16.8. Sophomore
Kirstin Neuwirth (New Berlin, Wis.) crossed the line in 25:21.3 for 24th place. Junior
Rachel Homan (New Lisbon, Wis.) placed 40th in 26:50.5, and junior
Madelyn Beyer (Appleton, Wis.) rounded out Wisconsin Lutheran's top five in 26:59.9 for 42nd.
Concordia Wisconsin's Emma Ahrens claimed the individual championship with a winning time of 22:35.7.
The Warriors will compete next on Saturday, November 15 at the NCAA Division III North Regional Championships at Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax. The women's 6K race starts at 12 p.m.
