COLFAX, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College placed 28th out of 30 teams at the 2025 NCAA Division III North Region Championships on Saturday at Whitetail Golf Course. The Warriors totaled 804 points in the 6K event, which featured some of the deepest competition in the region.
Freshman
Maddie Metz (Chino Valley, Ariz.) led WLC with a 128th-place finish in a season-best time of 25:04.6. Sophomore
Kirstin Neuwirth (New Berlin, Wis.) followed in 140th, crossing the line in 25:22.0. Junior
Madelyn Beyer (Appleton, Wis.) placed 172nd with a time of 26:52.7, while junior
Rachel Homan (New Lisbon, Wis.) came in 175th at 27:07.5. Freshman
Brooke Hodkiewicz (Oconto Falls, Wis.) completed Wisconsin Lutheran's scoring in 195th, finishing in 28:46.2.
UW-La Crosse captured the regional team title with 45 points, placing all five scorers in the top 20. Carleton's Hannah Preisser won the individual 6K championship in 21:40.2.
The Warriors concludes their 2025 cross country season with Saturday's regional performance.
