MEQUON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College placed fourth out of eight scoring teams at the Wisconsin Private College Championships on Saturday at Concordia Wisconsin.
The Warriors tallied 104 points. Host Concordia Wisconsin captured the team title with 32 points, followed by St. Norbert (39) and MSOE (68). CUW's Emma Ahrens won the individual 6K crown in 22:12.1.
Freshman
Maddie Metz (Chino Valley, Ariz.) led WLC with a 13th-place finish in a season-best time of 25:10.0. Sophomore
Kirstin Neuwirth (New Berlin, Wis.) followed close behind in 14th at 25:14.5, while junior
Rachel Homan (New Lisbon, Wis.) finished 30th in 27:52.5. Senior
Sylvia Walentowski (Neenah, Wis.) crossed 33rd in 28:40.8, and freshman
Brooke Hodkiewicz (Oconto Falls, Wis.) rounded out Wisconsin Lutheran's top five in 39th with a time of 29:21.8.
The Warriors return to competition on Saturday, November 1 at the 2025 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships at Shorewood Cross Country Course in Green Bay. The 6K race is scheduled for 12 p.m.
