Warriors Finish Second At Home Invitational

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Junior Mikaela Sullivan (Wauwatosa, Wis.) placed fourth overall to lead the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's cross country team on Saturday at the 21st annual Warrior Invitational at Greenfield Park. The Warriors finished second in the final team standings with 53 points, with four runners placing in the top 15.

• WLC Team: 2nd of 11 (53 Points)
• Top WLC Individual: Mikaela Sullivan, 4th of 74, 25:26.7

• Sullivan placed fourth in the 74-runner field to lead the Warriors. The junior posted a 6K time of 25:26.7.
• Junior Brooke Graesslin (Janesville, Wis.) finished ninth on the 6K course, finishing in 26:33.9.
• Sophomore Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) finished 13th in the 6K event, clocking in at 26:56.3.
• Sophomore Chloe Todor (Franklin, Wis.) finished 15th in the 6K event with a time of 27:02.4, a personal best.
• Sophomore Savanah Bland (Seneca, Ill.) was 21st overall with a time of 27:47.6. 
• WLC finished second in the 11-team field with 53 team points, just eight points shy of first-place Trinity Christian.

• WLC races next on Saturday, October 16 when it competes in the Private College Championship at Reid Municipal Golf Course in Appleton. The women's 6K race starts at 11 a.m.
