WLC Posts Several Season Bests In Minnesota

NORTHFIELD, Minn. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's cross country team competed in the Running of the Cows hosted by Carleton on Saturday on the Bill Huyck Championship Course. The Warriors finished seventh with 208 points at the event as their top five scoring runners all recorded season-best 6K times.

• Location: Bill Huyck Championship Course, Northfield, Minn.
• WLC Team: 7th of 8 (208 Points)
• Top WLC Individual: Mikaela Sullivan, 36th of 92, 25:18.2

• Junior Mikaela Sullivan (Wauwatosa, Wis.) placed 36th in the 92-runner field to lead the Warriors. The junior posted a season-best 6K time of 25:18.2.
• Junior Brooke Graesslin (Janesville, Wis.) also registered a season-best time on the 6K course, finishing in 26:09.7.
• Sophomore Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.), competing in her fifth collegiate 6K race, posted a personal-best time of 26:27.7. 
• Senior Christina Biffert (Lomira, Wis.) recorded a season-best time in the 6K as well, clocking in at 27:02.3.
• Sophomore Chloe Todor (Franklin, Wis.) completed the team scoring for WLC with a personal-best time of 27:09.3.
• Wisconsin Lutheran finished seventh at the event with 208 team points.

• WLC races at home next Saturday when it hosts the 21st annual Warrior Invitational at Greenfield Park. The women's 6K race starts at 12 p.m.
