Schumacher Sprints To Pair Of Records At Karl Schlender Invitational

WHITEWATER, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Senior Kendra Schumacher (Little Chute, Wis.) broke her own school records in the 60m and 200m on Saturday to lead the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's track & field team at the Karl Schlender Invitational hosted by UW-Whitewater. The Warriors finished fifth out of eight teams with 51.5 points.

• Final Results: 5th of 8 (51.5 Points)
• Location: Williams Center, Whitewater, Wis.

• Schumacher finished second in the 200m with a school record in the event for the second straight week, posting a time of 25.62 for the fourth-fastest in NCAA Division III this season. She also placed third in the 60m with a school-record time of 7.88, besting her previous mark of 8.02 seconds from a year ago.
• Junior Grace Weide (Waterford, Wis.) placed third in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 10.17 and was second in the 400m with a time of 1:06.53.
• Junior Brooke Graesslin (Janesville, Wis.) was third in the 600m with a time of 1:46.82.
• Senior Christina Biffert (Lomira, Wis.) also raced to a third-place finish in the 3,000m with a time of 12:26.24.
• Freshman Liz Eilertson (Mukwonago, Wis.) posted a fourth-place finish in the 400m with a time of 1:10.64 and was also eighth in the Long Jump with a distance of 4.88m.
• Junior Mikaela Sullivan (Wauwatosa, Wis.) was fifth in the Mile with a time of 5:45.61.
• Junior Kayla Pagel (Kenosha, Wis.) placed seventh in the Shot Put with a throw of 9.57m.

• The Warriors return to action next Saturday for the John Tierney Classic hosted by UW-Milwaukee. Events are scheduled to start at 10 a.m. inside the Klotsche Center.
