RIPON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College finished sixth at the 2026 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships, held Friday and Saturday at Ripon College's Willmore Center. It was the Warriors' second straight sixth-place finish at the indoor championships.
Junior
Marin Schibbelhut (Onalaska, Wis.) finished fourth in the Pentathlon with 2,550 points, while freshman
Brooke Hodkiewicz (Oconto Falls, Wis.) was sixth with 2,528 points.
The Warriors received a fifth-place finish from their 4x400m Relay. The quartet of freshmen
Lucy Luedtke (Marshfield, Wis) and Hodkiewicz, and juniors
Madelyn Vanderhoof (Watertown, Wis.) and
Madelyn Beyer (Appleton, Wis.) crossed the line in 4:32.60 to earn four team points.
WLC added a pair of sixth-place performances. Schibbelhut cleared 1.44m in the High Jump, while the Distance Medley Relay team of Beyer, Vanderhoof, freshman
Calliope Horn (San Diego, Calif.), and sophomore
Kirstin Neuwirth (New Berlin, Wis.) totaled a time of 13:26.43.
Wisconsin Lutheran also received an eighth-place finish in the Pole Vault, where freshman
Taylor Favorite cleared 2.70m to score for WLC.
St. Norbert claimed its fifth straight NACC title with 265.5 points.
The Warriors return to action next weekend for a pair of last chance meets, competing at the Firebird Finale and Ripon Final Qualifier on Friday and Saturday.
