GENEVA, Ill. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College finished sixth out of 15 representing teams at the 2022 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships on Saturday at Northwestern Medicine Cross Country Course.
The Warriors finished in sixth place for the second straight season at the NACC Championships. WLC totaled 138 points, 48 points in front of seventh-place Dominican. Championship host Aurora claimed its seventh conference title by placing seven of its runners in the top-25. Edgewood's Rachel Ehrhart won the individual 6K title with a time of 22:22.8.
Wisconsin Lutheran was led by senior
Brooke Graesslin's (Janesville, Wis.) 10th-place overall finish in the 102-runner field with a time of 24:51.5. The senior earned her second All-NACC honor and extended the streak to 23 straight seasons of an all-conference finisher for the Warriors.
Junior
Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) placed 20th with a time of 25:25.1, senior
Emily Herried (Necedah, Wis.) was 34th with a time of 26:18.3, freshman
Grace Adickes (Crete, Ill.) finished 37th with a time of 26:28.5, and sophomore
Louisa Felgenhauer (Lusaka, Zambia) rounded out the team scoring with a 53rd-place finish in 28:24.0.
WLC will next race at the NCAA Division III North Regional on Saturday, November 12 in Northfield, Minnesota. The 6K race starts at 11 a.m. on St. Olaf's Cross Country Course.
