APPLETON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College tied for sixth out of 10 teams at the Gene Davis Invitational on Saturday at Reid Municipal Golf Course.
The Warriors finished with 183 points, tying with North Central (Minn.) for sixth in the 10-team field. Ripon won the event with 35 points. Abby Parent from Minnesota Running Club was the overall 6K race winner in the 121-runner field with a time of 22:55.7.
For WLC, senior
Brooke Graesslin (Janesville, Wis.) was 17th overall with a personal-best time of 24:21.9. Junior
Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) placed 45th with a time of 25:40.8. Senior
Emily Herried (Necedah, Wis.) finished 55th with a season-best time of 26:14.1, freshman
Grace Adickes (Crete, Ill.) was 63rd with a season-best time of 26:41.8, and sophomore
Louisa Felgenhauer (Lusaka, Zambia) placed 86th with a season-best time of 28:10.2.
Wisconsin Lutheran will next host the Wisconsin Private College Championships on Saturday, October 15 at Greenfield Park in West Allis. The women's 6K race is scheduled for an 11 a.m. start.
