RIPON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's indoor track & field team set two school relay records on Saturday at the Dick Hendricks Invite hosted by Ripon, as the Warriors finished sixth with 47 points at the 12-team event held inside the Willmore Center.

  • Event: Dick Hendricks Invite
  • Final Results: 6th of 12 (47 Points)
  • Location: Willmore Center, Ripon, Wis.

  • The Warriors' 4x400-meter relay team of senior Kendra Schumacher (Little Chute, Wis.), junior Brooke Graesslin (Janesville, Wis.), sophomore Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.), and junior Grace Weide (Waterford, Wis.) topped the seven-team field with a school-record time of 4:11.25.
  • WLC's 4x200-meter relay team of Schumacher, sophomore Mattie Stutzman (Burlington, Wis.), freshman Abigail Pechman (Savannah, Ga.), and freshman Liz Eilertson (Mukwonago, Wis.) were runner-up with a school-record time of 1:51.35.
  • Junior Mikaela Sullivan (Wauwatosa, Wis.) won the 16-runner 3,000m with a finishing time of 10:47.19.
  • Weide raced to a fourth-place finish in the 60m Hurdles in 9.67 seconds. She also placed eighth in the 200m (28.77).
  • Eilertson finished fifth in the 60m with a time of 8.51. Stutzman finished seventh in the same event with a time of 8.63.
  • Mueller finished seventh in the 400m at 1:07.48.
  • Freshman Rachel Romens (Slinger, Wis.) was seventh in the Triple Jump with a mark of 9.73m.
  • Senior Natalie Lendt (Watertown, S.D.) placed seventh in the 60m Hurdles at 10.18.
  • Graesslin had an eighth-place finish in the Mile run clocking in at 5:41.67.

  • "We did more volume than normal in the meets this week before we cut back to prep for conference over the next two weeks. Our relays and distance crew shined today! Mikaela Sullivan and women's 4x4 both ran by themselves for the entire race, so their marks are very impressive. 42 PR's, 17 WLC top 10 marks, and four school records for the weekend mean we have some BIG things coming soon." - Head Coach Eric Kramer.

  • The Warriors will compete next Saturday at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Challenge. Events are scheduled to start at 10 a.m. inside the Kolf Sports Center.
