ALLENDALE, Mich. (WLCSports.com) – Wisconsin Lutheran College recorded seven personal-best marks and four more season-best performances on Saturday at the GVSU Big Meet at Kelly Family Sports Center.
On the track, junior
Marin Schibbelhut (Onalaska, Wis.) opened the meet with a season-best 11.00 seconds in the 60m Hurdles. Freshman
Lucy Luedtke (Marshfield, Wis.) posted two personal records, running 29.08 seconds in the 200m and 1:04.88 in the 400m. Junior
Madelyn Vanderhoof (Watertown, Wis.) also turned in season-best efforts in both events, clocking 30.14 seconds in the 200m and 1:08.43 in the 400m. Sophomore
Amelia Kelley (Appleton, Wis.) also recorded a personal-best 1:09.12 in the 400m.
In the middle distances, freshman
Brooke Hodkiewicz (Oconto Falls, Wis.) added a PR with a time of 2:31.23 in the 800m. Junior
Madelyn Beyer (Appleton, Wis.) closed the track events with a season-best 5:55.03 in the Mile.
In the field events, Hodkiewicz continued her strong day by clearing a personal-best 1.43m in the High Jump. In the Shot Put, freshman
Audra Kopfer (Columbus, Wis.) posted a PR with a throw of 9.79m, and Schibbelhut added another personal best with a mark of 7.09m.
WLC returns to action next Saturday, February 21, at the Panther Tune-Up hosted at the Klotsche Center in Milwaukee. Events are scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
