KENOSHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Senior Kendra Schumacher (Little Chute, Wis.) and junior Mikaela Sullivan (Wauwatosa, Wis.) set school records for the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's track & field team on Saturday at the Parkside Classic. The Warriors won three events and finished third with 85 points at the five-team meet.

- Schumacher won the 55m in a school-record time of 7.30 seconds, breaking her own mark by .01 seconds from the first indoor meet of the season. She was also first in the 400m with a school-record mark of 57.96 seconds. Her previous school record in the event was 1:01.03 from 2020.
- Sullivan finished fourth in the 800m with a school-record time of 2:23.80, breaking the nine-year-old mark of 2:24.34 from 2013.
- Junior Grace Weide (Waterford, Wis.) raced to a first-place finish in the 55m Hurdles in 9.03 seconds.
- Freshman Rachel Romens (Slinger, Wis.) was third in the Triple Jump with a mark of 9.75m.
- Senior Natalie Lendt (Watertown, S.D.) leaped to a fourth-place finish in the Triple Jump at 9.63m. She also placed third in the 55m Hurdles (9.47) and sixth in the Long Jump (4.64m).
- Junior Kayla Pagel (Kenosha, Wis.) placed fourth in Shot Put with a throw of 9.15m. She also was fourth in the Weight Throw (10.15m).

Mikaela Sullivan's record in the 800 was one of several pleasant surprises. - The Warriors travel to Ripon next Saturday to compete in the Dick Hendricks Invite. Events are scheduled to start at 11 a.m. inside the Willmore Center.
