WLC Places Third Behind Five Wins At St. Norbert Quad

DE PERE, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Senior Kendra Schumacher (Little Chute, Wis.) won two events to highlight the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's outdoor track & field team's five victories on Saturday amidst cold and windy conditions at the St. Norbert Quad. The Warriors placed third with 136 points in their final tune-up before next weekend's conference championships.

• Location: Donald J. Schneider Stadium, De Pere, Wis.

• Schumacher was victorious in the 100m with a time of 12.34 seconds. She also won the 200m clocking in at 25.06 seconds.
• Junior Grace Weide (Waterford, Wis.) finished first in the 100m Hurdles with a time of 15.95 seconds.
• WLC also claimed titles in both the 4x100m and 4x400m relays with times of 52.77 and 4:18.03, respectively.
• Freshman Liz Eilertson (Mukwonago, Wis.) finished second in the Long Jump with a mark of 5.09m. She also placed fifth in the 100m in 13.42 seconds.
• Junior Brooke Graesslin (Janesville, Wis.) placed second in the 800m in 2:18.99, just missing the school record by .06 seconds. 
• Senior Natalie Lendt (Watertown, S.D.) placed second in the Triple Jump with a leap of 9.90m. She was fourth in the High Jump with a mark of 1.45m. Lastly, she finished sixth in the 100m Hurdles in 17.92 seconds.
• Junior Mikaela Sullivan (Wauwatosa, Wis.) took third in the 800m behind Graesslin in 2:22.64.
• Sophomore Savanah Bland (Seneca, Ill.) placed third in the 3,000m with a time of 12:31.92.
• Freshman Rachel Romens (Slinger, Wis.) finished fourth in the 100m with a time of 13.41 seconds.
• Sophomore Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) placed fourth in the 800m clocking in at 2:26.06.
• Junior Paige Sweem (Kalispell, Mont.) and sophomore Madi O'Dell (Manteno, Ill.) were fourth and fifth, respectively, in the Javelin with distances of 29.65m and 29.07m.
• Freshman Camille Juga (Racine, Wis.) had a fifth-place finish in the Triple Jump with a leap of 9.15m.
• Sophomore Chloe Todor (Franklin, Wis.) and freshman Lydia Nelson (Green Bay, Wis.) finished fifth and seventh, respectively, in the 3,000m with times of 12:49.70 and 13:13.50.
• Freshman Emily Meiller (Madison, Wis.) finished sixth in the High Jump with a mark of 1.35m.
• Sophomores Anna Raasch (Germantown, Wis.) and Janae Jensen (Slinger, Wis.) placed sixth and seventh in the 100m, respectively, recording times of 13.46 and 13.48 seconds.
• Freshman Abigail Pechman (Savannah, Ga.) placed eighth in the 200m clocking in at 28.86.

• "It's been a difficult week, especially with the weather for training and competing, but our athletes showed their toughness today. Very happy and impressed with their performances.
