KENOSHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College opened its 2023 indoor track & field season on Saturday at the Firebird First Invitational hosted by Carthage. The Warriors finished eighth with 11 points.
Senior
Brooke Graesslin (Janesville, Wis.) and junior
Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) placed third and fourth, respectively, for the Warriors in the 800m. Graesslin posted a time of 2:32.61, while Mueller came across the line in 2:34.79 to account for WLC's 11 team points.Â
Invite host Carthage won four events and scored 144 points to take home the team title.
Wisconsin Lutheran returns to Kenosha next Saturday for the Lake Michigan Open hosted by UW-Parkside.Â
