KENOSHA, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College recorded seven top-10 finishes on Saturday at the Lake Michigan Open at UW-Parkside's Petretti Fieldhouse. The Warriors did not post a team score.
Freshman
Sydney Schroer (Saginaw, Mich.) finished eighth in the 200m in 30.50 seconds, and posted a season-best time of 7.90 seconds in the 55m for 10th place.
Junior
Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) was eighth in the 400m with a time of 1:05.90.
Senior
Emily Herried (Necedah, Wis.) placed ninth in the 800m with a time of 2:38.17.
Senior
Kayla Pagel (Kenosha, Wis.) posted an eighth-place finish in the Weight Throw (10.93m) and was 10th in the Shut Put (9.19m).
Senior
Paige Sweem (Kalispell, Mont.) was also 10th in the Weight Throw with a personal-best mark of 9.10m.
Northern Michigan won four events and scored 185 points to win the team title.Â
Wisconsin Lutheran returns to action next Saturday, January 28 for the Aurora Grand Prix at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track and Field Center in Chicago, Illinois. Events begin at 11 a.m.
