RIPON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College scored 34 points and compiled 11 personal-best marks on Saturday at the Dick Hendricks Invite at Ripon's Willmore Center. The Warriors finished seventh out of 11 scoring teams at the event.
WLC's 4x400m Relay team of juniors
Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.),
Anna Raasch (Germantown, Wis.),
Janae Jensen (Slinger, Wis.), and senior
Brooke Graesslin (Janesville, Wis.) finished second out of 11 teams with a time of 4:12.41, the fastest in the NACC this season.
Wisconsin Lutheran's Distance Medley Relay team comprised of Graesslin, Raasch, Mueller, and senior
Emily Herried (Necedah, Wis.) was second with a conference-best time 13:48.92.Â
Jensen finished third out of 39 competitors in the 200m with a personal-best time of 27.18 seconds.Â
Graesslin and Mueller placed fourth and seventh, respectively, in the 400m. Graesslin posted a time of 1:03.24, while Mueller managed a personal-best time of 1:05.09.Â
Herried posted a personal-best time of 2:31.89 in the 800m, good for fourth place among 26 runners.
St. Norbert scored 132 points, winning three events, to claim the 11-team scoring invite title.
The Warriors compete next Saturday at the Panther Tune-Up hosted by Milwaukee. Events are scheduled to start at 10 a.m. from the Klotsche Center.
