ALLENDALE, Mich. (WLCSports.com) - Wisconsin Lutheran College recorded 15 personal-best performances on Friday at the Snowdown Showdown hosted by Grand Valley State at the Kelly Family Sports Center.
Senior
Brooke Graesslin (Janesville, Wis.) placed third in the 800m with a time of 2:23.81. Junior
Ashlee Mueller (Fredonia, Wis.) and senior
Emily Herried (Necedah, Wis.) posted personal-best times of 2:27.91 and 2:34.08 in the event to finish sixth and eighth, respectively.Â
Freshman
Sydney Schroer (Saginaw, Mich.) finished sixth in the 60m with a personal-best time of 8.25 seconds. Junior
Janae Jensen (Slinger, Wis.) was eighth also with a personal-best time of 8.38 seconds. Jensen was also third in the Triple Jump with a personal-best leap of 9.23m.
Sophomore
Rachel Romens (Slinger, Wis.) was second in the Triple Jump (9.34) and seventh in the Long Jump (4.60m).
Sophomore
Emily Meiller (Madison, Wis.) finished seventh in the High Jump with a cleared height of 1.34m.
WLC competes next Saturday at the Dick Hendricks Invite hosted by Ripon. Events being at 11 a.m. at the Willmore Center.
